Museum collection: Diaries and other documents
Besides personal belongings, photographs and letters, War Childhood Museum is collecting notebooks and other documents somehow relevant and related to growing up in wartime. Acceptance criteria are that the above mentioned documents were created by children/adolescents during the war or that these documents depict life or living conditions of children in times of war.
Among the collected documents, there are personal diaries, notebooks with lyrics of songs, newspaper clippings, school booklets with grades, hospital related documentation, drawings, school newspapers etc.
