Annually, the War Childhood Museum opens the call for applications for the scholarship in honor of the WCM’s late researcher, Lejla Hairlahović-Hušić, which carries her name.
Inspired by Lejla’s belief that education is the cornerstone of society, the scholarship aims to support PhD candidates and their research.
The “Lejla Hairlahović-Hušić” scholarship amount is 3.000 KM, and is awarded to recipients in a single installment.
Eligibility for the scholarship is extended to PhD candidates who are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina or foreign nationals engaged in research within Bosnia and Herzegovina. The academic fields covered include Anthropology, Archaeology, History, History of Art, Journalism, Law, Linguistics, Literature, Pedagogy, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology.
