Get a Ticket to the War Childhood Museum

Yes, you can get a ticket both online and at the War Childhood Museum’s ticket office. We offer both options for your convenience.

This means you can start your visit at any time within your selected 30-minute time slot. Once you enter, you are welcome to stay as long as you like during opening hours.

If you arrive late, you will still be able to enter, but it will depend on the number of visitors. Those with tickets for the current time slot have priority, so you might need to wait until there is available space.

Once you enter, you can explore the permanent exhibition at your own pace and stay as long as you wish until closing time at 7 PM.

Tickets that are not used are not automatically eligible for a refund.

If you need to cancel your ticket, you may request a refund up to 24 hours before your scheduled visit. You will receive a 100% refund of the ticket price, minus any payment processing fees.

Refund requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled visit, as well as requests for unused tickets after the scheduled visit, are not eligible for a refund.

At the entrance of the museum, there are two steps, instead of which it is possible to use a lift/ramp.

*Please note that the Museum’s disability elevator is currently out of service. We are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and will update this notice once it is back in operation.

The museum’s exhibition space, the corner for adults and children, as well as the toilet are accessible to people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids. The museum is also fully accessible for strollers, and there is also a baby changing area available.

For groups of 6 or more people, guided tours in sign language (Bosnian) can be arranged with prior notice of at least 5 days via phone or email. Several seating areas are available throughout the museum.

Stories from the permanent exhibition are available in Braille (Bosnian).

Mobile guides: Visitors can use our mobile guides in English, Bosnian, Italian, Turkish, French, Chinese, Polish, Arabic, Spanish, and German, making the exhibition more accessible and easier to follow for speakers of these languages. To use the guide, scan the QR code available at the Museum using your smartphone, select your preferred language, and start exploring the stories.
