At the War Childhood Museum, we are commited to upholding the highest standards of transparency and accountability in all facets of our operations.

To that end, we publish comprehensive annual reports that offer a detailed glimpse into our activities, financial sources, and the impact of our work. These reports ensure that our contributors, visitors, supporters, donors and the public have access to clear and comprehensive information about our organization.

By embracing transparency, we aim to foster trust, promote understanding, and demonstrate our commitment to our mission: preserving and honoring the experiences of war childhood.

ANNUAL REPORT 2024

In 2024, the War Childhood Museum reached a new milestone, showcasing four exhibitions across three countries and two continents simultaneously.

We also expanded our collection by welcoming stories from new regions and deepening our connections with individuals and communities affected by armed conflict.

Peace education remained a key focus for the WCM in 2024. As in previous years, children and youth from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as from other countries took part in the Museum’s educational activities.

As we review the War Childhood Museum’s accomplishments in 2024 we are excited to share the beginning of a new chapter focused on securing the Museum’s long-term sustainability.

Annual Report 2022

We welcomed 2022 with a lot of enthusiasm at the War Childhood Museum: we hoped the year would bring a definitive end to the pandemic and that we would be able to focus exclusively on our activities. However, in February 2022, an unexpected aggression was launched against Ukraine, where the WCM has an office.

This annual report gives you a comprehensive overview of our activities in 2022.
